Day for Downtown Update

We received our assignment for this Saturday's Day for Downtown Community Service Event: Our project will be at at the M.A.N.A. House (Marines Army Navy Air Force). They have a residential facility for veterans who are down on their luck. They can stay at the MANA House for a relatively short period of time while they work on improving themselves in areas of chemical dependency, job/skill training, etc. They are getting some murals painted in their facility, and they have a computer lab that needs setting up as well. The address is 755 E. Willetta St. Phoenix, AZ. We will see you there on Saturday from 8-12.

Mentoring is a good thing!

Hey RPCVs of Phoenix, just back from overseas and want to chat with someone about your experience, or want to network with someone who knows about jobs in the valley, or been back awhile and want to help someone with their job search or just swap stories of your days in Peace Corps. Sign up to be a mentor and/or a mentee at http://rpcvmentoring.org. We'll match you with someone who needs your skills or has the skills you desire. Let's connect!
